Set up questions on forms
In a form, questions may require special conditions or specific answers.
Several options are possible to configure these questions.
Mandatory questions
To make a question mandatory, you must activate the " Required" option.
Users cannot proceed to the next step without responding.
Display conditions
It is possible to create dependencies between the questions of the form.
When a question depends on the answer to the previous question then, it is a conditional question.
A conditional question is only possible if you have previously asked questions such as: " Selection" or "Single choice".
To add a condition to a question:
- Activate the display condition.
- Then choose the question and the answer that will condition the question.
Constraints on answers
Adding constraints on responses allows you to define the type of response you expect from users.
On Text questions, you can choose:
- The number of characters allowed (maximum and minimum)
- The format (email or phone).
On Document type questions :
- You can choose the type of file to accept.
On Selection, Multiple Choice or Checkbox questions:
- You can establish a scoring system by assigning a score or a weight to the different possible answers.
